…..the recovery! In a Gordon Brown nonsensical nightmare of an economy maybe, and he will try and convince you that it well – but we all know it is unreal!

After this morning’s performance, I wonder how many Labourites are eating their words by now – of the lot of them – judging by the knee jerk frantic announcements form more than three Cabinet minsters already.

A word of advice to those who seem to under estimate the power of tax cuts “Think again”

“According to Gordon Brown’s logic, carrying on wasting money is crucial to securing a recovery. We think this is wrong” said George Osborne this morning and added “No one can seriously argue that tackling waste is somehow going to damage the economy” simple logic.

Osborne and the shadow Treasury team have done well and judging by their performance tonight is set to be a night to remember. Sadly I shall miss it life but I am sure Twitter will keep me well informed.
