United by it, against it!

Watching the Phone Hacking debates, I was shocked to see how quickly both sides of the house united.

The week stared with Labour MPs largely accusing the News of the World and in particular its former editor, Andy Coulson, of all sorts, while the LibDems with the Tories silently listened to them and ended with a united and a fired up house that voted unanimously to refer the matter to the Committee on Standards and Privileges.

Which goes to show, sadly the media must be the most hated institution in our country today!

Not quite Walaa! I’d put HMRC and its head David Hartnett, Permanent Secretary at the top of my list! I would feel as envelopes drop through people’s letterboxes demanding extra payments of tax owing to an HMRC cock-up then lots of other pople would agree!
