A confession plus!

Earlier today I tweeted here and since then I was contacted by Labour MP Chris Bryant who refuted the tweet and asked for an apology based on an article on the Mail online (which names the said person as a former MP)!
I have no trouble apologizing when at fault and in this occasion I was on the wrong -so Mr Bryant, please do accept my apology for causing you undo distress, belief it or not it was not at all intentional.
However, I would also like to take this opportunity and address an issue which I feel in this day an age shouldn’t be an issue at all. Being gay whether in or out and why is it still such a big deal is beyond me. As a nation, by now we should have evolved well beyond who sleeps with whom and put our focus and energies on the things that truly matter. Such as health, education, the economy, and what will make us a great nation!
It is really a shame when on the one hand we allow criminals the right for privacy and anonymity while law abiding citizens are blackmailed into revelling personal and intimate details.
