A Future Alike for All!

I wonder on which playing fields Labour dreamt their campaign slogan – “A Future Fair for All”- is neither appropriate nor reflective of their ideology and track record so far!

So why should anyone belief them and take comfort in what they say? What is different and what positive change did they deliver to the country in their 13 years of rule?

To the majority of people, fairness is offering equal opportunity and shared responsibility by all, listening to voters and delivering in what you have promised them. It is being reasonable, rational and open minded but these characteristics go against the fundamental code of beliefs of the Labour Party.

They are the party of dumping down instead of helping those behind to catch-up, resent the wealthy instead of giving the poor the tools, hopes and aspirations to become the best they can be. Begrudge and demonise private education at the expense of improving state education, Labour is the home of big government with its huge spending, CCTV spying and ID cards monitoring, to put it simply Labour is the party of control freakery – how is that fair, impartial or even-handed!?

Could they have they meant ‘alike’ – A Future Alike for All!
