Is Mizaru, Kikazaru, Iwazaru which in Japanese ‘literally’ means don’t see, don’t hear, and don’t speak!
With little to no build up, Prime Minster Brown walked through the front entrance of the Queen Elizabeth Centre to give evidence to the Chilcot enquiry today. And, without any opening statement he spend the whole day explaining how he had nothing to do with the Iraq war, not as the Chancellor, nor as a member of the cabinet!
In his desperate desire to distance himself and appear different to Blair, Mr Brown came across as the Chancellor who wrote blank cheques to finance a war he did not care for that was launched by people he did not work with.
But, he was courteous at end and expressed sympathy for the loss of life on both sides of the war.
Iain Dale – via Twitter – has summed it the best in just a little over 100 characters – # Summing up Brown’s evidence so far: “I wasn’t there, I know nothing, nothing to do with me, guv. Honest #
I couldn’t have said it any better.
