Leaders' Debate the penultimate!

This was the longest week of my life – waiting for round two of the Leaders’ Debates was long and painful. But it was worth the wait. 10 minutes into the debate and I started to feel good, after 45 minutes I knew whatever Manchester water had Bristol’s definitely did not!
The best thing about tonight’s debate was all three leaders were strong from the start although early on I could see Cameron was pulling away slowly but steadily. It almost felt as if having Nick Clegg do as good as he did on the first debate have forced both Cameron and Brown to up their game.
Half way into the debate Clegg began to struggle – some attribute it for him being in the middle (if that is the case, guess Brown is lucky). But I am more inclined to think last week’s debate was a trial run and a warm up!
There were many memorable moments, Brown telling Nick Clegg “Get real Nick” is catch phrase martial. Exposing LibDems ‘illegal immigrants amnesty’ was the eye opener of the debate and this election but my absolute favorite had to be Cameron holding Brown to account on Labour’s scaremongering leaflets and watching a grown man lie to the millions he wants to vote him back in office.
If I had to score tonight’s over all performance – Brown 6 – Cameron 8 – Clegg 5
