The Evening Standard has reported that Gordon Brown is set to step down tonight!

The rest of the Media is also reporting that talks between the Liberal Democrats and the Labour Party have ended without reaching an amicable agreement. Whether the Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives will now share power or will the Tories form a minority government is not yet known, but what is very clear is that David Cameron will be Prime Minister by tomorrow.

No other news from Labour HQ, but both the LibDem and the Conservative parliamentary members are on stand- by for a meeting tonight.
