Tough times ahead!

For the Economy – we still don’t know the true depth of Labour’s mismanagement. Just today unemployment figures showed that numbers are creeping up towards the 3 million mark.
For the Voters – those who voted Tory will feel betrayed just as those who voted LibDem will too. Vote for one and get the other was not part of the plan nor was it on the ballot papers. But beyond tribalism and party loyalties our country needs us and our undivided loyalties must lie there. For some it will be very hard to come to terms with this new format of government, but tough times require tough measures.
For the New Government – like all arranged marriages this one will need continuous work to succeed. The good well and vigour to achieve success is there, the tools (the great brains) to make it all happen are there. All is needed now is to let them get on with it. But they will un-doubly be under the watchful eyes of many friends and foes.
For the Old Government – like all loses first comes the explaining and the spinning (for the coming weeks every Labour pundit will try to explain why). Then comes a period of blame where everybody blames everybody and each other, this will be followed by calm after which all will starts to make sense. At that time they will realise they have lost and wonder if they can get it all back in 5 years time.
Change if difficult, it is never comfortable but it is also unavoidable, it can also be easy and as enjoyable as you want it to be. Surprisingly like many things in life change is simply a decision!
