Petraeus to replace McChrystal

The White House wasted no time in replacing General McChrystal with General Petraeus .

And although McChrystal has built a good on the ground [with the troops and the government] relationship that was cultivated carefully and deliberately over time, Petraeus is very able to handle the task at hand and do it smoothly but he will need to hit the ground running.

This year is critical for our servicemen and women and the war efforts in Afghanistan, it is therefore important that the focus should primarily be on the job at hand.
