Maybe Men are from Mars & Women from Venus!

Everybody is up in arms at Cameron for saying in an interview to a US reporter, “we were a junior partner in 1940 …..”!

The media was all over him mistaking the date of that historical event – but I did not see or care for that point. Because at the time I was having a “Sock Horror” moment of my own about the remark – on a different matter all together.

To call the UK, Britain, junior is just wrong – even if it was true in that occasion – let people correct you for being full of yourself but never say you were a minor partner.

Especially, as the current US administration, thinks so little of us in the first place, with no regard to our endless and continued contributions. Furthermore, Americans don’t understand or do humility the way we do and they will see that kind of talk as a weakness and lack of confidence or just flattery.

I know our Prime Minster did not mean either and what he said was a mistake and a slip of the tongue – he probably wanted to say 1940s – but still he should have described us as partners PERIOD
