Winners Never Quit and Quitters Never Win!

Lots of speculation this weekend that Ed Balls is about to throw in the towel and call it quits, because he did not have the backing of Unite.
Races are not coronations and anyone entering them knows off hand they might win or lose. It’s a fair assumption that Mr. Balls went into this race wanting and hoping to win but he also knew that he could lose.
If he gives up, no matter what are the reasons, he will always be remembered as the one that gave up, and that can not be good, especially if he intends to stay in the public arena.
Napoleon Hill summed up quitting and quitters beautifully – “The world generously forgive us for our mistakes and temporary defeats, provided that we accept them as a challenge and keep on trying, but there is no forgiveness for the sin of quitting when the going is rough”
