Refreshing Politics, our new politics

It’s a refreshing change to wake up every morning to Breaking News that makes feel Yes, that’s how it’s suppose to be!

David Cameron’s honesty is a very welcome change from the old politics of tip toeing and fibbing under the excuse of diplomacy of yesteryear’s. In Turkey he was candid [see my thoughts here] to the discomfort of even some Tories, and yesterday he said what everybody is feeling and thinking about Pakistan – but shock horror the media does not seem to like it.

Clegg, a couple of weeks ago, in the last PMQs said: “the Iraq war was illegal” – hello, his whole party existence and ideological belief is based on these principles. So, had he said anything else it would have been a blatant lie – but the media did not like it either.

As for Gove saying that ‘Rich thick kids’ do better – of course they do, it is a fact of life, not only do they do better they also go further in life [we all had the privately educated manger who doesn’t know jack about the job], because money does buy everything. No, not in the criminal or illegal sense, but in getting extra tuition when its need, diagnosing learning difficulties and behaviour, and privately paying for the best help and assistance….., the list goes on.

The Coalition, Cameron’s leadership and his style of politics are all new and different but in a good way. We should be grateful for that because it is unlike the previous government’s dishonesty and spinning – with the Coalition we know what comes out of our politicians is the truth and where we stand – we need it and our country deserves it and we’ll all be the better for it at this very critical times.

Imagine we might just have the first ever “Say what they feels and Do what they promise politicians” it might be novel but it will be very hard grumble about!
