"I agree with Iain!"

Along the same lines of “I agree with Nick” that dominated the Leaders Debate “I agree with Iain” – Mr Dale has a good analysis on why a LibDem Tory coalition could work HERE and I agree with it!

But on the area of electoral reform I think the LibDems will be very adamant and will want more than a free vote (we will prop you to a working majority in return for PR) especially as they have already been there with Blair. Since PR (Proportional Representation) is the one thing standing between them and governing, I suspect they will find the middle ground in everything but this.

Newsnight is mad to drop Iain from the discussion – this topic is the talking point of every conversation and is on every mind today as it should be – on top of that many people (including some Tories) are as taken back as LibDems by today’s developments – unless Newsnight wants a one sided conversation I can’t see their logic!
