Today’s winner is Tamara Dyson the mother of Billy & Vixen Francis [the snatched twins] for returning/leaving them unharmed where they can be found and therefore putting an end to their disappearance.

And the BIG loser is the social services [who were supposed to be monitoring a visit from the twins’ grandmother when they were snatched] they once again dropped [twice in one week in this case] the ball, due to their carelessness twice in one week they put young and venerable lives at risk – when will they learn!?

It is rather unfortunate, that once again the social services are shown to be incapable of carrying out the most fundamental task, with regards to the safety of young children, in their care. In this case they are lucky that it was the childrens mother who took them. From what I’ve read of the case, it could easily have been a group of paedophiles who walked in and took the children.

On a connected point, it seems that the mother has a drink related problem. Wouldn’t it be better for the services to offer the mother support, to get herself sober and be able to look after the chldren properly, rather than just take the children away. It would be a lot cheaper, financially, in the long run. As well as being less disruptive to the lives of these young children.
