End on an Era!

I know it is probably “naff” but I am truly sad to see 24 end!

Unlike many fans, I was not as disappointed with the slow start of Day 8. But like all fans, I knew it would only get better as the hours go by, and it did.

Tonight Sky 1 will air the finial two hours of this iconic cult phenomenon, and I with millions in the country will say goodbye to Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) and Chloe O’Brian ( Mary Lynn Rajskub) who stayed the course and rarely changed sides or lost faith in each other.

Many presidents came and went but my absolute favourite is President David Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) – because he was a straight shooter and a good guy throughout. The President I dislike the most is Charles Logan (Gregory Itzin) who cannot do good if it hits him upside his head.

I will miss 24 terribly but cannot wait for the 8-session box set. If you are a fan, remember to watch it on Sky 1 at 9pm.
