Did support for the LibDem drop or settle to pre the hype days?

Tomorrow’s headlines will not make comfortable reading for the LibDems; while their Coalition partners are enjoying as much as a 9 point increase their support has dropped after the budget. It will also show that most of that drop is going left to Labour.
But if we compare the same polls with per – the leaders’ debate polls – it will show they are simply settling back to post election numbers, to where the LibDem’s support is naturally.
Before the leaders’ debate the Conservatives and Labour were neck and neck with the LibDems in third place on high teen levels. They only peaked [overnight] because Clegg was the new kid on week one of the debates but when the novelty wore off by week three that quickly faded.
Given that Clegg and the Liberals are where they ‘should be’ naturally the one who should really worry is Labour. Even though most of the LibDem support is going to them they are at low 30s, it seems there is a leak or a crack somewhere in their support, it will be wise of them to address it before they drop to third.
