The Man that Cries Wolf!

I hardly agree with anything George Galloway says, add to that, I find some of his views and ideals borderline inciting if not right out dangerous. The man seems to be on a life long ‘Conspiracy Theory’ crusade which I find totally insane!

However, last night on the BBC’s Question Time he made some sense, when he alluded to a class of disaffected Britons, who are largely white, mainly working class and feel voiceless, ignored and left behind by the political elite.

This group of people does exist and pretending that they don’t, will not make them go away or become weaker. On the contrary it will make them stronger, prove their point further and gain them more unneeded sympathy – that is the bad news.

The good news is they are a product of 13 years of political correctness as oppose to common sense, multiculturalism in place of cohesion, and open door immigration policies without the appropriate infrastructure and preparations that can support the influx of the new comers. Good news because now that we know we can fix it.

To be able to address their concerns correctly, we need to listen and communicate with them openly, and allow them to freely speak and voice their concerns; regardless of how uncomfortable or ‘politically incorrect’ these concerns might be or make us feel. Unless we listen unconditionally we’ll never learn peoples’ true feelings and anxieties!

This time George Galloway was on the right tack and it will be mad to dismiss his remarks just because they were raised by him!

George Galloway has made a political career out of championing the ‘disaffected’. Last time round it was one ethno-religious minority and now that the effect has worn off and his party has been all but obliterated, he’s latching on to another bandwagon.

What George says is nothing new. All indices of deprivation whether relating to education, health, economic status, benefit dependency, crime or academic attainment have pointed to this all along.

It is a well-known fact that recent years have seen a surge of this ‘underclass’. In fact efforts have been made to outlaw disparaging names used for this underclass, such as ‘chav’, etc. Of course much of this has to do with the sense of ‘entitlement’ Labour has inculcated into the culture of this country.

Galloway is an opportunist par excellence, I’ll give him that. Like Darth Mandelson.

Hi Walaa

thought I would ask you to check out some of my blogs and see what you think. Real issues with real solutions. that for some reason the Political Elite don’t want to action, yet they moan n groan about tackling child poverty, what about vulnerable adult poverty http://bbccrazydave.blogspot.com also the videos raise questions of the BBC aiding n abetting the Welsh Assembly in Criminal Negligence and not the Impartiality they like to boast about.

I gotta be fair to Mr. Galloway I did used to enjoy his talksport slot on a friday and saturday night. He’s the only politician I know who had the balls to make himself available to the people twice a week on National Radio.

Thank you for commenting Dave, I will check your blog a little later tonight.

Banti, even though to be fair this time he is on to something, I just hope he does not lose sight of what really matters – that is giving voice to the issue and not turn it into another publicity crusade for him!
