What’s the price of Boris’ super highway?

The Mayor of London today lunched his first London cycle super highway – The scheme is aiming to get all of Londoners cycling!

On Denyer Street 3-4 pay & display parking bays has been transferred to the scheme – the same happened around the corner on Sloan Avenue, a few yard further on Chelsea Green and a little further from there on Sydney Street. Within a 15 minute walk 4 cycling bays replaced one of K&C’s key cash cows. All the revenue [lost from Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea] from this scheme goes to the Mayor of London!

Last time I looked pay & display was 20p for every 8 minutes – I wonder how much will that cost RBK&C long term?
