The savoir-faire of the future

Elated that the Prime Minster is standing by his remarks on Pakistan, and not wobbling with some lame excuse – that he was misheard, misquoted or misunderstood – he said it and meant it – and what’s more, it is the truth.

Some are saying, Cameron was undiplomatic, maybe! But maybe also the old style of diplomacy has been unfriendly, unfair and detrimental to future progresses, whether economically or militarily.

Before bashing the PM’s honesty, let’s remember that from the start he promised to be transparent and lead an open and frank administration, he simply delivered on that promise. It might be novel but it is very refreshing!
