IPSA –is driving MPs round the bend.

And they are giving it back in attitude and verbal abuse, which never resolves any issue, except it leaves the recipient very incensed!

After last year’s expenses scandal, that resulted in the highest turn over of MPs in a generation and with a new style government in place the public was looking forward to a fresh political experience! Although, the coalition is going from strength to strength, it seems members of parliament are having a much wobblier start with the fees office. With reports of tantrums, acts and language of abusive nature, one wonders is it all due to the big shake up and change in the system or is there more than meets the eye.

But the question still remains, why a year on, the expenses scandal and its derivatives keep rearing its head every time news is a little sluggish!?

These MPs that have the ‘tantrums’ are demonstrating a distinct lack of professionalism and lack of respect for the rules. Doesn’t exactly set a good example!

A new setup is needed and that is what we’ve got. MPs will just have to deal with it.

The only complaint I have with IPSA is the salary of it’s chief. It’s ridiculously high considering that we’re in an age of austerity.

I agree with all you said and add by showing poor judgment, those MPs are not helping those who who are trying very hard to clean up the old image.
