What a difference a day makes!

Yesterday some were questioning a few aspects of the military operations carried out in Libya – President Obama started to make waves about when the USA will handover and who will it handover to – while in Westminster MPs began asking what about Gaddafi, questioning if removing him was part of this mission?

Five days on 162 Tomahawk missiles, and 100 attacks later it looks like the end of the oldest and possibly the cruelest African tyrant is in sight.

Secretary Clinton told ABC News that it was unclear if the Libyan leader would seriously contemplate stepping aside, but that US officials were aware of people reaching out “allegedly on Gaddafi’s behalf” to assess exile options.

Could that signal the end of the Libyan situation – could it possibly all be over by this weekend?

Walaa i think you are getting ahead of yourself, over by this weekend????????? i think not. Did you see Gaddafi on the news last night? He’s there to stay. Its wishful thinking from Hilary Clinton.
Nato have just met and STILL can’t agree on who will even command this mission. I agree with the action but i’m really worried this is going to take years.
