My evening with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium!

On Wednesday a friend asked me to join him to watch Arsenal play Borussia Dortmund at home. And although I’m a Chelsea fan, I’m a Londoner first and supporting a home team comes easy, so accepted the invitation. All I asked was when and where.
Made it to the grounds on time – it was an easy journey on a very packed Piccadilly Line from South Kensington to Arsenal. On arrival, I was immediately escorted to the company box – no queues or waiting around. The evening was wonderful from the company, the match itself to the refreshments and the top class hospitality. The home team scored two goals and the atmosphere around me was electric.
The only problem with this whole experience, it was my first time watching a soccer match live and from not queuing to reach my seat, watching from a cozy warm box to being waited on hand and foot, I don’t think I’ll be able to watch live football any other way now!
Pity my friend doesn’t have a box at Stamford Bridge.
