What is wrong with Norman Tebbit?

Posted 7 Mar 2010 by Walaa Idris

A long time ago my mother told me if you don’t have something nice to say about someone don’t say anything at all! Mr. Tebbit is very welcome to borrow that advice.

He seems to have very poor timing, last election he lost us a seat in Kent by openly attacking the Tory candidate on TV, today on the Politics Show he was suggesting that Conservative members in the Buckingham constituency – Speaker Bercow’s seat – should have a free vote and vote for candidates other than John Bercow; despite knowing that the Conservatives party leader – David Cameron – has given his full backing and support to the Speaker.

I know the pressure is on, but some conservatives need to exercise a little more self control – with only a few weeks before an election no one can afford to be media fodder and non of us can afford to lose this election.

Loose lips do sink ships.

There is NO Tory candidate – DC would have been wise to leave this well alone. Tebbit is merely balancing that.

The fears that CCHQ is exercising to much central control seem to be justified.

DC should use his energies in ATTACKING too much central control. Do I mean the EU ? Yes I do. He would win by a landslide.

But I suspect that like Ken Clarke he is a Bilderburger member. True >

In this context – nothing. I haven’t always agreed with him but this is simple. I wouldn’t expect Call-Me-Dave to disclose his hand in advance – if he had one. He’s all mouth and trousers. Bercow is a liability to the Tories and to straight government – he couldn’t even require Harperson to answer questions when it was her honest duty to do so. She aped her dishonest boss and evaded them, in all her predictable dishonesty. Where there is a chance for UKIP one should vote for it. BNP, too, as it’s a the best protest vote, telling LibLabCon we are sick of their slime. Ah, waste of time telling you this.

That’s how Labour has managed to cling to power all these years. Shut up and toe the party line. Very socialist. It’s about time the Tories became socialists.

Of course, then my vote becomes pretty meaningless.

The politician’s Holy Grail.
