My prediction for this election,
Posted 5 May 2010 by Walaa Idris
Now it is predictions time, and like everybody else I am putting in my two cents, some might feel I am a little optimistic, I might be, but it is how I feel it is going to pan out!
First we will have a very good turn out somewhere in the region of 65% and even as high as 80% in some areas.
The Tories will win with a small but a decent working majority of 20 seats on a 39% share of the vote which will allow them to form a government alone. In government their biggest headache will be the LibDems and not Labour.
Labour will end second at 28% with between 160 – 180 seats, and will spend the whole parliament being a very ineffective opposition due to chronic inner fighting.
The Liberal Democrats will stay on third place and poll 23% with around 80 seats.
UKIP will win 2 seats, the BNP and the Greens will win 1 seat each, and there will be a couple of independent seats.
Tories – 39%
Labour – 28%
LibDems – 23%
Others – 10%
Now your turn!
And PS; it will rain most of tomorrow
