Huhne and Pryce, the cost of revenge is eight month a piece.

Huhne and Pryce 2

It is always sad when anyone falls from grace. Many will say Huhne deserves what happened to him, it was his own doing. But I would say compassion is what makes us human.

A custodial sentence, in my opinion, should only be handed down to hardened criminals and those who are a potential danger to others and the society – but in this instance I fully appreciate the judge’s reasoning behind handing them eight month each. A case of not ideal but necessary justice….

I might not agree with Chris Huhne’s politics but can’t but admire his passion for the causes he championed and believed in from Climate Change, to the Liberal cause and a better fairer Britain. He is a great loss to politics and his party. I genuinely feel sorry for him and hope he learnt and grew from this tragedy.

As for Vicky Pryce, the woman is clearly very vindictive, acted purely on revenge and was motivated by hate. I hope she uses her time inside to reflect and hopefully heal from her despise.
