Every politician should have a dog!

The saying “In Politics there are no friends and if you need one get a dog” couldn’t haven been truer today. Reading about Caroline Nokes four years affair, on the Mail, aside of getting caught on the hotel’s CCTV every other detail was given to the paper by a friend and a family member.

Which makes you wonder (1) if you are doing something you don’t want broadcasted tell absolutely no one and (2) what happened to old fashion friendships where friends have each others best interest at heart? It must be true; there are no friends in politics!
