Why is Miliband, E focused on everything but his campaign?

Posted 22 Aug 2010 by Walaa Idris

Labour failed to get Charles Kennedy to defect, and the story, they manufactured died in under 24 hours, another own goal for Labour. Kennedy, after majestic silence said; he will go to his grave feet first with his LibDem membership on his pocket.

Now Labour, precisely Ed Miliband, is after LibDem grassroots!

I ask again, where are the 30,000 plus ex LibDem voters who signed up to Labour a few weeks ago? Why, if as Labour has been telling us that every LibDems is looking for refuge in Labourland, the Labour Party is on the verge of bankruptcy, Prescott’s words not mine, and why are they now pleading for LibDem members to defect to them?

Sadly, all Mr Miliband has achieved, is to belittle Labour and make a fool of him self. Which brings me to another thing, why is he doing all of this now, so close to the leadership election could it be he can’t handle the brotherly heat?

If Mr Milliband is wondering where all those Labour voters went, he could a lot worse than look in the direction of the British National Party.

The possible defection of Charles Kennedy should never have been covered by the media. If anyone had bothered to do their research, they’d know the story has no solid foundations.

I just wish Charles Kennedy had responded to the speculation earlier, then people could refocus on more serious matters.

He’s Spartacus, they did lose a lot more than they claim they gained.

David, the whole Charlie Kennedy story was a deliberate attempt from Labour to throw LD off but it backed fired big time!

Labour never claimed to have 30K ex Lib dems – there has been a surge of new members of around 30K of whom at least 1/3 are ex Lib Dems (like me) – that is what has been said and it puts rather a different complexion on things.
