Obama’s legacy is becoming president

Like many political enthusiasts, I have followed with interest Barak Obama’s rise to the White House, but unlike most, sometime around 2006 I saw a disturbing side to him. His ideological beliefs and ethos, in my opinion are dangerous and destructive to America and the West in the long run. And, that is why I don’t find his decline either sudden or surprising.

Whatever people might think about Americans, in general they are folks, in that they all love their country, their family and they are each God fearing in their own way. They belief in opportunity, freedom and justice for all and mostly mind their own business – mostly, because some have a knack for fixing other nations – but that’s another thing all together.

It was the American people, in their droves that gave Barak Obama the fame and notoriety he so badly craved and yearned for. And being the first Black American to reach these heights played a big part in it, both nationally and internationally. But now the novelty is wearing off, the person, the charisma, and the message of hope are being questioned and the people are turning away from him.

Looking at the Obama presidency you can’t help but wonder sometimes. It resembles the life styles’ of Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton and those who have everything, yet are bent on self destruction – simply because they refuse to listen or learn!

Except, of course, Mr Obama knows what he is doing. He did tell us that he has
nothing to lose, when he admitted; he does not mind being a one term president!
