Move over Blair!

Watching PMQs today, David Cameron looked very much a seasoned PM, he had a little Blairesque something about him – and now that we know, from his memoirs, Blair used to get very nervous about PMQs – maybe Cameron does too! Not bad at all, as it is a well known fact the nerves give people that extra edge needed to perform well.

Despite the difficult week Cameron had, he was on very good form, well briefed and on the ball.

Harman had a great line about not wearing a hoodie, when DC was praising her, but surprisingly ended her reign as acting leader on a very flat note. Using all her questions to probe one issue which Cameron answered on her first question was unwise, a sign maybe she and the opposition had nothing to question.

Today, the Prime Minster has hands down won PMQs, and with over four years of practise at the dispatch box, whomever the Labour Party elect as their next leader has a long way to go to reach the Cameronesque calibre.
